A very costly Christmas tree was unveiled in Tokyo. A nearly two million dollar golden Christmas tree has been put on display for the holiday season in the Japanese capital.
Tokyo's jewellery store Ginza Tanaka unveiled its Golden Christmas Tree, which is made from 12 kilograms of pure gold, worth 1.95 million US dollars. The star alone is worth about $65,000. It took 15 craftsmen four and a half months to complete the creation. Tokyo jeweler says it is the most expensive tree they have ever made.
It's just under 8 feet tall and weighs more than 26 pounds.
