World’s highest swimming pool

Singapore invested 4 billion euros to build the “Marina Bay Sands Tourism City”, the world’s highest swimming pool located on 55th floor is undoubtedly the highlight of the project.

The swimming pool built on the roof looks like the surface of the water extends to the horizon. While swimming, you can enjoy the beautiful cityscape of Singapore. The water will overflow from the swimming pool and penetrate into specially designed catchment area, flowing back the pool again through water pumps and water treatment systems.

Swimming pool is located in the Marina Bay Sands Hotel, Singapore. It is the highest swimming pool in the world today because the location of the pool is located at an altitude of 200 m or more precisely above the roof of the building 55 floors high.

The roof is called Skypark Sands was built on a roof supported by three pieces of the building where the roof length reaches 380 m, while the swimming pool itself has a length of about 150 m. What makes it more cool, like most of the current swimming pool, its suburbs have not created an alias you will feel like was swimming float. But do not worry too if you fall, you fall into the first water reservoir and not directly to the floor below.
