How would the perfect funeral look like? That’s a question you’re not asked every day, right? Well, as gruesome as it might sound, some people thought about this and decided the perfect funeral would require the perfect hearse.

Italian company Biemme Special Cars revealed a special modification for the Rolls-Royce Phantom which turns the luxurious British limousine into a hearse. The car now measures 23 feet and is probably the most luxurious hearse in the world. According to the Italians that made it, 600 new components and 200 meters of special materials were used to create the car.

Under the bonnet, Biemme kept the 6.75-liter V-12 engine that delivers 460-hp and is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. And for “the last trip” to be real special, the Phantom also comes with the auto-adjustable suspension.

People interested in the creation will be able to admire the new Rolls-Royce Phantom Hearse B12 and the price tag for the “morbid” Phantom is 500,000 Euros (around $660,000).

Different  Luxurious Hearses

In the early 20th century the hearses were only for cery rich people. Cars for the funeral looked fantastic: they were decorated with columns, vases and sculptures, and they resembled the ancient ritual carriages. In Japan, expensive hearses resemble a miniature Buddhist temple.
