An iPhone 5 rumor of a summer 2012 release by Apple has circulated over the internet, according to reports by several international news sites.
Reports say that the iPhone 5 rumor was started by a blog site who claimed to have gotten the information from an anonymous insider at Foxconn in China. Based on a published article by Apple Intelligence at 9to5mac.com, a blog about Apple products, iPhone 5 “is now gearing for production.”
9to4mac noted that their source revealed that various sample devices were already submitted, but, none has been selected yet for final production.
Below are some of the features that are common to all of the samples:-
over 4 inch display
no teardrop-shaped devices
all devices are symmetrical in thickness
different form factor compared to iPhone 4/4S
none of the devices are the final versions.
Following the previous patterns of Apple releases, the blog is predicting a summer release of the iPhone 5.
