The so-called ‘Samsung Galaxy S III‘ smartphone (SGS3) is being believed to be launched in London on Thursday, May 3, 2012 during the Samsung Mobile Unpacked event, where an invitation had been recently sent to some media outlets and tech bloggers.
According to a Dutch website, who are among the first ones to receive the said invitation from Samsung on its launch of the next Galaxy S smarthphone, which has no official name yet.
“Come And Meet The Next Galaxy” A statement reads on the Samsung invitation, noting the launch of the successor to the Galaxy S II, which is also posted at the official Samsung Mobile, with ‘The Verge’ confirming that the event will start at 7PM BST (2PM EST).
Apparently, there were no official details of features of the new Galaxy S but some reports are suggesting that it has a screen size of approximately 4.7 “, with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels and would run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
Back in February, it was reported that Samsung Galaxy S III will feature a 1.5GHz quad-core Exynos processor, a 4.8-inch 1080p HD display with a 16:9 aspect ratio, an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, 4G LTE connectivity and a ceramic case.
