Rovio Entertainment will launch the latest Angry Birds game installment on March 22, 2012. The Finnish game developer announced that they would be releasing Angry Birds Space, which they described as a completely new game with innovative new game play, but with some of the familiar Angry Birds elements that Angry Birds fanatics already know and love.
The Finnish company is enjoying a good release momentum this quarter as they also launched Angry Birds in Facebook last February 14, 2012. This newest Angry Birds Space addition is expected to be another global hit as it is much anticipated by the their fans worldwide.
“We are VERY excited to announce our next game: Angry Birds Space! It’s going to be the biggest game launch since the original Angry Birds!” said the Rovio on February 17, 2012.
“We’re going to announce more information in early March, and on March 22nd we will launch simultaneously in mobile gaming, animation, retail and publishing”. Rovio also released the Angry Birds Space teaser video in Youtube with the text “Its one small fling for a bird, One quantum leap for birdkind“.
