Acer to launch Iconia Tab A510 Olympic Edition in UK this month




Acer, the leading Taiwan-based multinational IT and electronics component maker recently launched several tablet PCs and has now revealed that the company is going to launch the Olympic Edition of Iconia Tab 510 in the United Kingdom.


Acer has equipped its A510 Olympic Edition tablet with several cutting-edge specs and features. The tablet is powered by Nvidia’s Tegra 3 quad-core CPU clocked at 1.3 GHz, which ensures that it will utilize less power due to the integration of high-end processor.


There is no definite report whether the tablet will support 3G networks or not but according to its high-end specs, many sources believe that it will bring 3G alternative. Furthermore, Acer is the main sponsor of the Olympics Games 2012, which will be held in London and Acer will launch the Tab A510 with Olympics logo on rear case. The Iconia A510 will be released by the end of this month but however, the company has still not announced the pricing information and exact release date for its Olympic Edition tablet. 

Specifications


The Iconia A510 comes pre-installed with latest version of Android OS, Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0. In addition, the tablet has a 10.1-inch touch-display with 1280 x 800p screen resolution, 16GB of pre-loaded storage capacity, 1GB of RAM, 5-MP snapper on rear case with full HD video recording ability, 2-MP front snapper for making video talks, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
