Apple unveils “The New iPad” featuring iSight camera and A5X chip




Apple has unveiled its world most-advanced tablet PC called “The New iPad” this week. Finally the wait is over now; there were lots of rumors and reports regarding the launch of Apple’s next tablet. Many people were saying and predicting that it would be called as the iPad 3 or iPad 2S and others were guessing it would be the iPad Mini or the iPad HD and finally the company released its next-gen iPad with completely different name.


The entire sphere anticipated that Apple will launch iPad 3 and was eagerly waiting for it but the tech-giant launched “The New iPad’ instead of iPad3. The same thing happened again if compared with the launch of iPhone 4S, the whole world was expecting for the iPhone 5 launch and the company launched the iPhone 4S.


The company has already placed pre-order page on its website, which shows that the new iPad will be available on March 16 via AT&T and Verizon Wireless in the United States. The Wi-Fi only version will be available in three storage alternatives like 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. The Wi-Fi + 4G version will also be available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB.

Specifications


The new iPad has a 9.7-inch enhanced Retina Display with 2048 x 1536p screen resolution; on the other hand, iPad 2 has a 1024-by-768p resolution. Apple has also improved the processor of its new iPad; it has a latest A5X dual-core chipset with quad-core graphics ability. The new iPad has a 5-MP camera with Apple’s latest iSight camera technology. By using iSight 5-MP camera; user is able to capture HD videos with 1080p resolution at 30 frames per second. Further notable features include 4G LTE connectivity option, pre-loaded with iOS 5.1, Bluetooth 4.0 technology, Wi-Fi, and will be available in two colors; black and white.
