Verizon launches Galaxy Tab 7.7 by Samsung




Verizon Wireless, the broadband and wireless services provider in the United States has launched new tablet PC  called the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7. The tablet was officially announced by Samsung at CES 2012 event and it is now available to buy on Verizon’s store with new two year service agreement. It is running on Verizon’s fastest 4G LTE networks hence user can able to surf the web faster than 3G networks and also able to stream movies and videos owing to 4G LTE speeds.


Users can also capable to watch movies and videos to their compatible Television using the HDMI Multimedia Dock with a pre-installed HDMI slot. The important thing in this tablet is the support for HTML5 web browser; the company has added HTML5 support to its Galaxy Tab 7.7.


The 7.7-inch tablet is powered by Android Honeycomb 3.2 operating system and has a number of amazing features including a 1.4GHz dual-core CPU, Super AMOLED Plus touch-screen running at 1280 x 800p resolution, a 2-MP front camera for video talks, a 3.2-MP camera on rear case with LED flash and able of full 720p video capturing experience, 16 GB pre-loaded storage, and several connectivity options like Wi-Fi and 4G LTE.


According to Samsung Telecommunications America “4G LTE” as used herein in regard to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 refers to the fact that it can operate on Verizon Wireless’ 4G LTE network.
